Cold Saw

The cold saw cut to size the profiles coming from the saw feed conveyor.
The profiles are cut during the advancement phase of the blade; at the end of the horizontal stroke, the blade goes down (it disappears) before returning back to its initial position.
This operation reduces the noise, improve the life of the blade and avoid any damages to the profiles during the return stroke of the blade.
Profiles are firmly clamped from above during the sawing cycle by a soft foam pad. This clamp reduces noise emission and assures a smooth, accurate cut. The vertical closing force of the clamps is manually adjustable according to the profile shapes.
Near the saw machine, is installed a control desk which allows the operator to control the whole cutting line.
