The moveable gauge travels on later guides or overhead guides.
The advancement speed of the profiles is reduced before getting in touch with the stop plate, in order to avoid possible bounces.
The gauge can be positioned in any location, as dialed from the saw operator’s console.
The gauge stop will be provided with a pusher which will push back the profile batch. This to avoid that possible profiles being “bounced” against the stop plate, are not with the correct dimension as regards to the blade. (it is possible to switch on or off this function according with the production).
After the saw cycle, the gauge stop raises to allow the profiles to pass; the tilting movement causes the stop to simultaneously lift and move away from the profiles so as not to drag across them and lift or bend the extrusions.
